As the Marketing Technology Manager at PennEngineering, you’ll collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things.   Join us as we build the future in Manufacturing and Engineering!   The Marketing Technology Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for building, optimizing, and scaling the marketing technology, data, and operational infrastructure that enables growth across our PennEngineering businesses. This role ensures marketing programs are efficient, measurable, integrated and aligned with sales and I.T. operations.  In a lean environment, this individual is both a strategic architect and day-to-day operator owning systems, data quality, reporting and process optimization across a full marketing stack.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, marketing technology, or a related field.
  • 10%+ Travel to PennEngineering’s Domestic and International Footprint
  • Proven hands-on expertise and advanced proficiency in administering and optimizing Marketing Automation Platforms (MAP), such as Hubspot, and familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, including integration management and data flow architecture and automations.
  • Proficiency with Googles Analytics/GA4, Google Tag Manager, UTM creation/tracking, web APIs and major SEO platforms such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
  • Strong understanding of B2B attribution models, funnel metrics, and long-cycle buying behavior.
  • Experience supporting ABM, multi-channel campaigns, and event-driven marketing.
  • Highly analytical, process-driven, and systems-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to partner effectively with marketing, sales, IT, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own, optimize, and govern the full Marketing technology stack (e.g., Hubspot, Wordpress, Google Suite, 6sense, Salesforce, etc.) to ensure high operational efficiency, seamless system automations & integrations, and data quality in support of Marketing’s web, ABM, email, and event initiatives.
  • Serve as the Marketing owner for websites and related systems, overseeing the performance and optimization to ensure the website supports organizational goals and user engagement.
  • Own and maintain the company-wide long term technical SEO strategy
  • Partner with IT to ensure systems are secure, scalable, compliant, and future-ready.
  • Partner with the Web/Digital developer teams to scope, troubleshoot, manage, and/or prioritize digital enhancements, bugs, and future build outs.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage new tools to support growth, efficiency, and advanced analytics.
  • Define data standards, taxonomy, and governance across campaigns, leads, accounts, and contacts.
  • Ensure accurate attribution and reporting across long, multi-touch buying journeys.
  • Support campaign teams by operationalizing workflows, templates, automation, and QA processes.
  • Ensure campaigns are launched efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with best practices.
  • Enable ABM, lifecycle, and channel marketing motions through scalable processes and tooling.
  • Continuously improve marketing speed, quality, and effectiveness.
  • Partner with Sales to align lead management, scoring, routing, and SLAs align with business requirements.
  • Ensure tight integration between marketing automation and CRM systems.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, consent management, and regional regulations.
  • Maintain system documentation, training materials, and operational playbooks.
  • Drive continuous improvement through testing, optimization, and process refinement.
