About The Position

Summary: The Marketing Specialist executes integrated, data-informed marketing programs for a portfolio of mission-driven, professional, and technology-focused client organizations. This role blends hands-on marketing execution, cross-functional collaboration, and performance analytics in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. As part of the Client Marketing team, this position supports planning, execution, optimization, and reporting across digital campaigns, events, websites, thought leadership initiatives, and audience engagement efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, analytically curious, and comfortable managing multiple client accounts in a fast-paced agency or association environment. Preference for local candidates to work out of our Wakefield, MA office 3 days/week. Here's what you'll do: Client Marketing Execution Execute integrated marketing programs across digital, email, social, web, and event channels. Serve as a day-to-day execution partner for assigned client accounts, collaborating with Client Marketing, Content Strategy, Creative Operations, Events, and Client Services teams. Coordinate production of marketing deliverables including email campaigns, landing pages, social content, presentations, promotional assets, and event materials. Support conferences, tradeshows, webinars, and in-person events from promotion through post-event follow-up. Maintain client websites and digital platforms in coordination with content and development partners. Draft and refine marketing copy to ensure brand and messaging consistency. Project & Workflow Management Manage timelines, workflows, and dependencies using project management tools. Proactively identify risks, scope changes, and gaps. Coordinate with creative teams and external vendors to traffic design, copy, video, and digital assets. Analytics & Optimization Own campaign-level reporting across email, web, social, and event initiatives. Analyze performance data (e.g., Google Analytics, email and social platforms) and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations. Support audience segmentation, targeting, and list management best practices. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, reporting templates, and analytics approaches. Stay current on digital marketing trends, AI-assisted tools, and emerging platforms. Assist with internal marketing initiatives and special projects as needed. As our next Marketing Specialist, you will bring: Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in client-facing marketing, digital communications, agency, consulting, association, or high-tech environments. Demonstrated experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns. Skills & Abilities Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client workstreams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindset. Solid understanding of integrated digital marketing and performance measurement. Technical Skills Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Emma, Constant Contact, HubSpot, Mailchimp). Working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) and social analytics platforms. Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) preferred. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Wrike) a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); strong Excel skills preferred. Basic HTML and/or Canva experience a plus. Additional Requirements Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to approximately 20%, including onsite client events. Must meet applicable client and travel requirements. The target hiring range for this role is $63,000 - $73,000 USD (annually). The starting base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors.
