About The Position

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives and brand standards in support of organizational goals. This role manages digital marketing, social media, brand assets, website content, and marketing request fulfillment for the Marketing and Development departments, translating strategic priorities into effective, well-coordinated marketing deliverables.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Minimum of 3 years in a marketing, graphic design, or communication role including at least 2 years of social media management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, and/or Graphic Design
  • Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or related Adobe Creative Cloud applications, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a position that required marketing and/or design skills

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement annual marketing plans and initiatives with organizational and leadership direction.
  • Manage day-to-day social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Develop, organize, and maintain marketing and graphic design assets.
  • Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy, compliance, branding consistency, and timely information.
  • Create and update onsite and external communication materials such as signage, flyers, brochures, and promotional materials.
  • Collect and analyze website and social media performance data and provide routine reports and insights.
  • Prepare, and distribute internal and external marketing communications including newsletters, email campaigns, and digital displays.
  • Capture photo and video content from organizational events and activities for marketing use.
  • Support the preparation and design of the annual report in collaboration with leadership and development staff.
  • Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., printers, media partners) as assigned.
  • Assist with marketing-related mailings and coordination tasks as needed.
  • Prepare internal communications, including the employee newsletter.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.
