Job Summary: Prepares marketing communications and programs for various media channels, i.e., social media, print, web, etc. Communicates the company’s competitive advantage using a wide range of advertising and communication media to promote the sale of products and services.

Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge of specialized disciplines, industry practices and standards, acquired via academic instruction and/or relevant work experience of substantially the same level.
  • Develops solutions to defined tasks, typical assignments and projects. May be solved by the application of specialized foundational knowledge, using existing approaches and solutions.
  • Work is usually performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion.
  • Receives initial direction although work may be reviewed for accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborates with immediate management and team members within the department or function.
  • Actions typically affect own work assignments and department.
  • Erroneous decisions or failure to accomplish work may require some assistance or resources to remedy.
  • Work Experience: Typically less than 2 years with bachelor's or equivalent.
  • Education and Certification(s): Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, implements and develops new marketing ideas and communication projects and ensures content aligns with key messaging, fulfills strategic plans and reflects the organization’s brand voice.
  • Provides guidance to businesses in developing and executing communication programs and tactics, including product advertising.
  • Prepares compelling, relevant, timely communication materials both internally and externally for products, services, business plans and management communications, etc. and ensures content is relevant to target audience.
  • Determines and uses the most effective communication media to sell specific products or services.
  • Leverages social media, web marketing, trade show activity and other marketing efforts.
  • Coordinates with vendors to produce promotional materials, marketing collateral, websites and other marketing communications materials.
  • May analyzes data, sentiment and trends; makes proactive and strategic recommendations based on data.
  • Other duties as assigned.
