About The Position

As a key player on the Energy Efficiency Commercial & Industrial (C&I) marketing team, this role leads dynamic, full-funnel B2B marketing and advertising campaigns across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. The work directly supports energy efficiency and decarbonization efforts, helping businesses of all sizes make sustainable choices. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for marketing and sustainability, experienced in campaign management and advertising strategy. They should be a strong communicator capable of translating technical details into compelling marketing messages, highly organized, and adept at managing multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholders, and priorities. This proactive problem-solver thrives in a collaborative environment, blending creativity with strategy to make a tangible difference in the energy and sustainability sectors.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of energy efficiency and decarbonization solutions
  • Strong time and project management skills
  • Enthusiastic and eager team player willing to jump in and assist colleagues as needed
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and a quick learner
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to successfully engage, influence, and inspire partners
  • Proficient/expert-level use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sustainability, or relevant degree
  • Minimum of three years of product marketing experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the sustainability, clean energy and/or energy efficiency industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own campaign execution – From planning and content development to managing external agencies and internal teams, ensure seamless, high-impact marketing campaigns that range from large-scale paid media to individual customer success stories.
  • Drive results – Manage campaign timelines, budgets, and vendor partnerships to deliver measurable success.
  • Collaborate & innovate – Work closely with digital, PR, creative, and customer service teams to bring fresh ideas and strategies to life.
  • Build strong partnerships – Foster and manage relationships with trade allies to promote energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Be a subject matter expert and an excellent communicator – Stay ahead of industry trends and translate technical information into engaging content for diverse audiences, shared through a wide variety of channels (sell sheets, emails, webpage copy, and more!).
  • Make an impact – Travel occasionally (about 10%) to see firsthand the difference your work is making in the industry.
  • Respond to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs as part of an Emergency Restoration assignment, which may require assisting during an emergency outside of normal responsibilities, work hours and location.
