About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role focuses on digital marketing execution and the day-to-day management of our marketing systems, data, and processes. This Marketing Specialist will play a key role in building and deploying email campaigns, managing marketing automation workflows, supporting reporting and analytics, and maintaining the systems that power our marketing efforts. This position is ideal for an early-career marketer with 1–3 years of experience who is eager to take ownership of execution, learn quickly, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate is analytical, highly detail-oriented, and a strong communicator who can collaborate across teams while driving work forward with minimal oversight.

Requirements

  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to learn quickly and work independently
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing and marketing automation tools (Pardot/Account Engagement or similar)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and support reporting
  • Exposure to digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, SEO platforms, and Google Search Console
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong research skills and comfort with list development and data management
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach and strong work ethic
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or marketing operations
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Pardot/Account Engagement or similar)

Nice To Haves

  • B2B or service-based marketing experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with HTML and/or CSS is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution & Email Marketing Build, schedule, and QA email campaigns across The Valcourt Group’s brands, ensuring accuracy and performance.
  • Create and update email templates.
  • Manage the email campaign calendar.
  • Build and maintain nurture and drip campaigns.
  • Apply B2B email marketing best practices to improve deliverability, engagement, and performance.
  • Marketing Automation & Data Management Manage lists, segmentation, and campaign setup within Pardot/Account Engagement.
  • Monitor lead flow to ensure accurate routing, assignment, and tracking within Salesforce.
  • Support marketing automation workflows, lead management, and campaign tracking.
  • Maintain consistent naming conventions, tagging, and system organization.
  • Website & SEO Support Support SEO initiatives, including keyword research and content optimization using BrightEdge and other tools.
  • Conduct SEO audits and implement optimizations across The Valcourt Group and sub-brand websites.
  • Execute website updates and coordinate web agency support requests.
  • Assist with website redesign and optimization initiatives.
  • Support lead generation through landing page optimization and form improvements.
  • Targeting & List Development Build and refine prospect lists using tools such as ZoomInfo, Convex, and LinkedIn.
  • Conduct research to support campaign targeting and database growth.
  • Prepare and format lists for campaign execution.
  • Reporting & Analytics Pull and organize data to support campaign and performance reporting.
  • Maintain dashboards and reports in Salesforce (leads, pipeline, revenue).
  • Use Excel to analyze, format, and present data clearly.
  • Team & Digital Marketing Support Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager on digital marketing programs, including email, websites, paid media, webinars, and analytics.
  • Collaborate across the marketing team on shared initiatives.
  • Provide flexible support as team priorities evolve.
