About The Position

The Marketing & Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating compelling content and managing the company’s social media presence across all platforms. This role also supports broader marketing initiatives, including customer engagement through referral programs and email marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this role is ideal for a person looking to learn more about all facets of marketing and social media while having the ability to flex their wings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of marketing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage social media strategy and execution by developing and maintaining a content calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok), creating engaging brand-aligned graphics, videos, and copy, scheduling posts using management tools, monitoring engagement, and collaborating with the Customer Care Team to respond to comments and messages while fostering community growth.
  • Track and analyze social media performance by monitoring key engagement metrics, preparing monthly performance reports, and providing insights and recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and overall effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage marketing content by collaborating with internal teams to gather stories, updates, and visuals; assisting the Agency of Record (AOR) with blog posts and promotional copy; and ensuring all content aligns with brand voice, messaging standards, and marketing goals.
  • Support digital content optimization by assisting the AOR with website content updates and ensuring content is optimized for SEO and emerging AI search standards.
  • Assist in managing the customer referral program, including participant outreach, tracking and reporting program activity, engaging participants to encourage continued involvement, coordinating promotional efforts, and refining the program to improve usability and participation.
  • Execute email marketing campaigns and support broader marketing initiatives by creating and sending campaigns through the company’s email platform, segmenting audiences, monitoring performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions), supporting event promotion and partnerships, and assisting the Director of Marketing & Communications with marketing initiatives and administrative tasks as needed.
