About The Position

Berg Construction is accepting applications for a Marketing/Social Media Coordinator to join our team in our Morgantown, PA Office. This role is focused on capturing real work, telling clear stories, and keeping marketing efforts consistent across various platforms. Berg is an excavation / site work contractor that has completed work in multiple sectors, from residential to government contracts. Established in 2000 and incorporated in 2004 we have the manpower and equipment to complete public and private work of any size. Our spectrum of services includes commercial utilities and site work, residential excavating and site work, waste management and golf courses. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to keep messaging clear, simple, and direct
  • Comfortable working in field environments (construction sites, yards, shop settings, etc.)
  • Organized and able to manage multiple brands and priorities at once
  • Experience with social media platforms and basic scheduling tools
  • Basic photo/video editing skills (iPhone + simple editing tools is fine)

  • A candidate who can keep various social media/marketing strategies organized without overcomplicating them
  • Strong communicator who can work with both office staff and field teams
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of their work day-to-day
  • Willingness to learn the industries and represent them accurately

Responsibilities

  • Capture photo/video content on job sites, in the field, and at business locations
  • Write and schedule social media posts across multiple brands (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Assist with monthly newsletters, email campaigns, and website updates
  • Support hiring efforts through job posts and recruiting content
  • Coordinate with field teams, managers, and leadership to gather accurate information
  • Maintain brand consistency while adjusting tone based on the business (construction vs. restaurant, etc.)
  • Help organize and manage a content calendar across all companies
