And under this roof, we protect what matters most. Team Summary With over 25 manufacturing sites, GAF’s Marketing team continues to grow in size and complexity. This program is designed to accelerate the development of recent graduates to leaders, capable of meeting the growing challenges facing our Marketing function. In GAF’s program, the candidate will work collaboratively with key leaders across the Marketing Organization and will have the opportunity to work on major projects and strategic initiatives. Job Summary Rotations will be determined through business needs, candidate interest, and mentor guidance. The position will be based in our corporate headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. Candidates will have a dedicated manager and mentor to support their development and technical training as they cultivate their leadership and technical skills. Candidates will have the opportunity to establish a network of peers and mentors, have visibility of high-level leadership, and have the opportunity to work on projects and initiatives that drive significant value to GAF. These rotational assignments are supplemented by various training courses throughout the two year program taught and led by internal & external resources. Training courses provide overviews of the various functions within GAF and follow a robust and interactive curriculum that helps develop participants on key competencies such as problem-solving/critical thinking skills, technical skills, business knowledge, teamwork, and leadership. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently or as part of a team, be well organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Previous GAF internship or co-op experience Required

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Services: In this rotation, the candidate will be acting as a Junior Account Manager and will serve as the secondary liaison between multiple segments of internal customers (i.e. Commercial Marketing, Residential Marketing, Partner Programs). This position will manage the flow of projects, from inception to completion, ensuring all projects are handled in a timely and accurate fashion. The candidate will learn the fundamentals of the business as well as the marketing and creative process. In addition, they will lead a project from start to finish so they can see a project through to build their expertise and resume.
  • Residential Marketing: In this rotation, the candidate will work with cross functional teams and be involved in all elements of product marketing strategy, financial and market analysis. This candidate will assist on key projects for existing product enhancements and future initiatives that will grow GAF’s leadership beyond product.
  • Digital Marketing: In this rotation, the candidate would be responsible for working closely with the Digital Marketing and IT teams to continually improve the overall functionality and user experience on the website as well as assist in the delivery of business objectives on GAF.com.
  • Partner Programs: In this rotation, the candidate will work with the team to develop acquisition and retention strategies for our contractor base. Focus on loyalty building initiatives and support on the day to day contractor needs which arise. Support the development of platforms and tools and work collaboratively with other areas of marketing to execute campaigns, IMC strategies, and more.
