The Marketing Reporting Specialist, under the direction of the VP of Marketing, is responsible for collecting detailed data from multiple resources to conduct analytical studies on operational performance, industry trends, marketing programs, and for providing solutions and/or recommendations to improve marketing and business operations for all five Kewadin properties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (includes, but is not limited to, the following) Compiles data and prepares analytical reports in order to support ongoing and future strategic marketing initiatives and plans. Writes analytics components of monthly/annual marketing reports using various quantitative/qualitative information. Develops charts, graphs, and tables to extent needed in reports. Provides statistical analysis used to support intelligent marketing executions and marketing tools responsible for driving knowledge and revenue. Provides analysis of player demographics and spending trends to develop and monitor effectiveness of long and short-term marketing and operational strategies. Works with other team members as needed to create, review, recommend, and deliver gaming and business-related statistical and analytical reports. Prepares financial/operational reports to document variances and trends in performance. Extracts, analyzes, interprets, and reports data to identify correlations, trends, or patterns in complex data sets and to properly build/maintain a robust set of analytical reports. Develops Return on Investment (ROI) analysis to evaluate effectiveness of marketing, player development, and entertainment campaigns and initiatives. Identifies problematic areas in data systems/bases/outputs and conducts research to determine the best course of action to resolve any issues found. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (includes, but is not limited to, the following) Gains/maintains awareness of casinos and customers' needs/wants by responding to customers as needed on various websites and updating Management Team through completions/submission of Online Travel Agency (OTA) workbooks. Works with MIS teams as needed on data warehouse content, reporting tools, and capabilities. Works events and tournaments, participating in site visits as needed, to gain and retain an understanding of tournaments and events and to maintain collaboration with team members of all Kewadin Casinos locations. Assists Direct Marketing Coordinator as needed with tagging and entering of prize codes. Writes and edits procedures, copy, and other documents as needed. All other job-related duties as assigned. CONTACTS: Immediate peers, peers in other departments, immediate supervisor/manager, managers in other departments, customers and outside vendor/service providers. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Position light with lifting of 20 pounds and frequent lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds. Physical factors include constant standing, walking, sitting, use of hearing, near/midrange/far vision, typing; frequent reaching, manual handling and occasional travel and bending. Working conditions include frequent exposure to air quality and occasional exposure to noise and vibration. Potential hazards include constant client contact and computer use and frequent office equipment use.
