Marketing Project Manager - ATL based

We Are RosieAtlanta, GA
13d$50 - $60

About The Position

Our client has built a stellar reputation as a leading cultural institution and is embarking on an exciting period of growth. With ambitious initiatives including a beautiful new headquarters and event space, expanded Film Studio capabilities, hosting the internationally acclaimed Ring Cycle, and launching subscription-based streaming content, the organization is at a pivotal inflection point—artistically admired, operationally productive, and increasingly visible. We're seeking a highly-organized, process-obsessed project manager who loves creating order from chaos. The business recently implemented a new organizational structure to increase cross-team collaboration and break down silos, and task management is critical to this transformation's success. While the organization has Asana, it's not yet universally adopted—and that's where you come in. This role offers the opportunity to establish foundational processes, drive tool adoption, and bring structure to a dynamic performing arts organization during a period of exciting growth. Rate: $50-60/hr Contract: 3 months to start with strong likelihood for this to be ongoing Hours: 20 hrs/week Location: Prioritizing ATL-based candidates Start date: ASAP

Requirements

  • Mid-level project management experience, ideally with brand-side (not just agency-side) experience
  • Proven track record creating SOPs and establishing processes from scratch, not just following existing ones
  • Asana super-user with deep knowledge of the platform's features and capabilities
  • Experience bringing order to chaotic environments and creating cultural calmness during periods of transition
  • Patient, empathetic communicator who can win trust and drive adoption of new processes
  • Highly focuse with a passion for building and activating internal processes
  • Resilient, resourceful, and tenacious with a sense of humor
  • Genuine desire to set others up for success

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification or similar credentials (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with marketing channels including paid social, SEM, email marketing, graphic design/copywriting projects, CRM-driven lead generation, PR, and video production
  • Experience with performing arts clients or adjacent industries is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Establish and activate new project management processes and SOPs across the Advancement Team (development & marketing), Communications & Brand, and Box Office departments
  • Drive organization-wide adoption of Asana , serving as the team's super-user and champion
  • Capture all current projects and tasks in Asana before the season continues in March 2026
  • Collaborate across departments with CRM (Tessitura) leads, data analysts, IT, HR, and accounting to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
  • Work directly with department heads and both internal team members and external vendors/contractors
  • Document all processes you establish to eventually train a future full-time PM
  • Balance supporting team members with holding them accountable for deliverables and deadlines
