The Marketing Programming Coordinator is primarily responsible for client relations, webmaster duties, sales reporting, database management, and marketing tasks to support the initiatives of the Partnerships department and the Insurance Thought Leadership (ITL) brand. This role involves website and programming upkeep, including regularly posting content, coordinating webinars, and updating webpages. Additionally, the coordinator will lead marketing efforts such as creating and tracking emails and social media for the ITL brand, and support sales marketing materials like sponsorship prospectuses, print, display advertising, and event marketing initiatives. The role also supports the partnerships sales team through various revenue operations tasks, including invoice/contract management, sales reporting, client database management, and client engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing or communications, business field.
  • Experience in or willingness to learn new systems required (Salesforce, Drupal, WordPress, Active Campaign, Canva, Jotform, Trello, GA4).
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), general office technology and knowledge of basic computer hardware.
  • Digital marketing savvy, including experience with paid digital media.
  • Experience with HTML emails and platforms (i.e., Active Campaign, MailChimp, HubSpot or others).
  • Must possess strong writing skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions professionally and effectively, conversationally and in written communications.
  • Ability to manage resources to bring about the successful completion of a specific project, including initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing the project either independently or within a team.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and demonstrate a high sense of urgency and ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational and follow up skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment across organizational boundaries in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with social platforms such as Sprout Social, Canva, Hoot Suite.
  • Digital marketing and website creation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of data, reporting, and prospect lists in systems such as Salesforce.
  • Work with IT to support Sales platforms, such as Apollo, Salesforce, Zoominfo, etc.
  • Track and pull client metrics for reporting for all sponsorship campaigns.
  • Coordinate and liaise with sponsors to enable sponsorship fulfillment, including scheduling kick off calls, wrap up calls, and handling asset requests.
  • Track invoices, payment status, and contract management- collaborating with BU leadership, sales, and finance as needed.
  • Post content/articles on the ITL website (Drupal), 6-12 per week.
  • Write copy and update website pages for ITL as well as sponsorship specific pages on other enterprise sites.
  • Post content on social media for ITL brand and work with BU marketing for partnerships marketing needs.
  • Work with BU marketing and sales team on creating sales assets, such as Sponsorships prospectuses and sales campaigns.
  • Design and complete presentations for sales, including, Kick off decks, wrap up decks, pitch decks, and client reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain centralized filing system for sales and reporting purposes.
  • Attend events as needed to support sponsorship fulfillment.
