About The Position

At Neighbor, we’re building the world’s largest hyperlocal storage marketplace. We’ve raised over $75 million from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz and the creators of DoorDash, Airbnb, and Uber. Our marketplace is already flourishing in all 50 states, and we’re just getting started. As our Marketing Operations Intern, you’ll help scale one of Neighbor’s most important local growth channels: Google Maps. This role is highly execution-focused and will involve setting up, managing, and optimizing Google Maps pins at scale in partnership with Neighbor hosts.

Requirements

  • Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
  • Must be available to work full time throughout the summer in Lehi, UT
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Google Maps Pin Setup: Work directly with Neighbor hosts to create, publish, and maintain Google Maps pins for their listings
  • Pin Quality & Compliance: Ensure pins follow best practices and Google guidelines, including accurate categories, descriptions, photos, service areas, and business details
  • Pin Optimization: Improve pin quality and performance through ongoing optimizations (photos, copy, categories, attributes, etc.)
  • Operational Scaling: Help build repeatable processes to scale pin creation and optimization across thousands of listings
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance metrics (rank, impressions, actions, calls, clicks) and report learnings to the Growth team
