About The Position

The Marketing Manager at San Francisco Health Plan (SFHP) is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and member engagement. This role involves managing a team of account managers and a digital strategist, overseeing multi-channel marketing campaigns, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The position requires a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve marketing goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of marketing experience with an emphasis on strategy within the healthcare industry.
  • 3 or more years of experience managing and developing a team.
  • Experience managing successful growth or demand generation marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience with paid media tactics, digital marketing strategies, marketing automation, and lead management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and operationalize marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and member engagement.
  • Lead the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns from planning to performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Strategist to measure and optimize marketing campaign effectiveness using data and analytics.
  • Manage, mentor, and support a team of account managers and a digital strategist.
  • Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Creative Services and Supervisor of Digital Marketing to ensure effective campaign delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze member needs, and track competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations, including HIPAA and patient privacy laws.
  • Manage the development of an annual marketing calendar aligned with the Medicare Advantage annual cycle.
