As a Marketing Manager at John H Carter Company, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies that promote the company's products and services. Your primary responsibilities will include creating marketing materials, managing both electronic and print collateral, and organizing campaigns that support product management and outside sales efforts. You will be tasked with measuring and improving the effectiveness of marketing content across the organization, ensuring that all initiatives align with the company's objectives. In this role, you will manage the company’s website, overseeing aspects such as copy/content, SEO, branding, social media integration, site structure, aesthetics, navigation, and analytics. Building and maintaining a strong social media presence will also be a key responsibility, where you will source, schedule, and publish engaging content. Additionally, you will maintain an image, template, and logo library to support both internal and external marketing efforts. You will act as the primary liaison to inter-company and principal marketing communications committees, ensuring compliance and effective leadership in all marketing programs. Staying updated with industry knowledge through trade associations and publications will be essential, as will maintaining a fresh marketing skillset through professional development opportunities. Collaboration with product managers to refine marketing materials and launch awareness campaigns will be a significant part of your role. You will also work closely with management on initiatives related to the company’s ‘Total Customer Commitment’ and assist in producing content for executive meetings and promotional items. Managing the production and deployment of internal communications during emergencies, as well as overseeing event collateral for trade shows and recruitment events, will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will manage the marketing staff and any outsourced or intern-based providers, ensuring that the department is adequately staffed and supported.
