About The Position

Kelley | Uustal is a national trial firm known for winning complex, high-stakes cases that change lives and hold powerful institutions accountable. Our marketing must operate at that same level. Strategic, intentional, and built to drive real business impact. We’re hiring a Marketing Manager to work directly with our Director of Marketing. This role is a true right-hand position for someone who wants ownership, responsibility, and influence, not a support role waiting for instructions. Your mandate is clear: Build and execute marketing that tells meaningful stories, drives engagement with the right audience, and supports the firm’s business goals, without creating friction upstream. This is not about making things “look good.” It’s about making them work. You will be expected to come with ideas, solutions, and fully thought-through execution plans. When work reaches the Director of Marketing, it should be refined, strategic, and ready for a decision, not a brainstorming session.

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Creation
  • Proactively develop ideas for: Content calendars, Campaign concepts, Story-driven post types designed to engage the specific audiences we want (for both Kelley | Uustal and John Uustal)
  • Build and maintain an organized roster of content types that serve clear purposes: engagement, credibility, visibility, and growth
  • Business-Minded Execution
  • You think like a business driver, not a creative for creativity’s sake
  • You focus on how content and campaigns actually drive engagement, influence perception, and bring in business
  • Visual execution and brand alignment matter, but your primary lens is effectiveness and impact
  • Vendor Leadership
  • Lead and manage digital marketing vendors (paid media, SEO, social, email, etc.)
  • Drive strategy, accountability, and results, not just status updates
