About The Position

The Marketing Manager at the Remi Hotel, part of the Autograph Collection, is responsible for leading the sales and marketing strategy for this new luxury hotel located in downtown Scottsdale's Entertainment District. This role involves overseeing the sales team, developing innovative marketing strategies, and ensuring the hotel is positioned as a market leader. The Marketing Manager will also manage the marketing budget, develop social media strategies, and cultivate relationships with key clients to drive revenue and achieve booking goals.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Marketing for a luxury lifestyle hotel.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a luxury full-service Marriott hotel.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent time management and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years' prior experience in the Scottsdale, AZ market.
  • Prior experience opening a hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the solicitation efforts of the sales staff through effective communication.
  • Interview, hire, train, and conduct performance evaluations for the sales staff.
  • Ensure regular training programs are conducted and standards of performance are met.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to sales associates to achieve property sales objectives.
  • Compile and direct the preparation of reports for the Sales Department.
  • Coordinate ongoing research of the travel industry to identify market trends.
  • Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Manage the sales RFP process and ensure the property is positioned as a market leader.
  • Implement service strategy and brand initiatives in the sales process.
  • Manage the marketing budget for property-specific campaigns and promotions.
  • Develop and execute the property social media strategy.
