About The Position

The Marketing Manager - Sports at CUENTO is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for sports clients. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing principles, advertising strategies, and the ability to create compelling content that drives client engagement and revenue. The position emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and clients to ensure successful campaign implementation and brand consistency.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of marketing, advertising, and writing experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in marketing or advertising, specifically in the sports industry.
  • Extensive experience in marketing planning and execution, copywriting, and brand advocacy in sports.
  • Strong analytical skills to gauge performance and create growth recommendations.
  • Excellent written and communication skills across all channels and formats.
  • Ability to learn quickly about industry trends and current events.
  • Positive attitude with a self-starter mentality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently with clients and partners.
  • Proficient in WordPress and willing to learn the platform.
  • Google and Facebook Certifications are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Adobe software (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Google, Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn advertising platforms.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic marketing plans and campaigns for sports clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for sports clients, implementing marketing strategies and supervising accounts.
  • Analyze market trends and oversee budgets to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to create compelling content that embodies the brand.
  • Drive revenue through the development and execution of marketing and branding campaigns.
  • Work with AdTech team and media partners to launch campaigns aimed at driving ticket sales.
  • Act as the brand advocate for sports clients, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Manage channel and content plans for assigned clients, including email, social media, and advertising.
  • Lead account and project management for assigned clients using project management tools.
  • Measure performance of marketing initiatives and produce reports with insights.
  • Develop email strategies and content to support campaigns.
  • Create fan engagement initiatives and annual promotions to maximize ticket sales.
  • Manage website content and updates for sports clients.
  • Track marketing trends and recommend new ideas for clients.
