About The Position

The Marketing Manager for Bioscience and Pyrogen Testing (BSPT) at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, Inc. is responsible for overseeing all marketing aspects of the BSPT product portfolio. This role focuses on driving sales growth through strategic marketing initiatives, managing product lines, and collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with global strategies. The position requires a strong background in life sciences and marketing, along with leadership skills to manage a growing team of product managers.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, life sciences, or Marketing with 6+ years of experience; MBA preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in biotechnology or life sciences marketing with an MBA.
• Experience in managing people is required.
• Industry experience within the LIFE SCIENCES is required.
• Science background preferred.
• Proven ability to build relationships and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and resolving conflict within teams.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and a technical background.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills including oral, written, and presentation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the marketing management of assigned product line(s) within the Bioscience and Pyrogen Testing (BPST) product portfolios.
• Develop and execute inbound and outbound marketing strategies to drive sales growth across the BPST product portfolio.
• Create and implement strategic and tactical marketing plans, including digital and print advertising.
• Utilize market research to develop messaging that drives customer acquisition and expansion.
• Create promotional marketing materials and sales tools in collaboration with the marketing communications team.
• Develop product bundling strategies to maximize revenue.
• Analyze sales and profit performance of assigned product areas and recommend enhancements to promotional efforts.
• Travel to meet with distributors/customers and attend conferences and trade shows.
• Work with distributors to improve promotional materials for their specific markets.
• Report new market trends and gaps to senior leadership in the US and Japan.
• Partner with technical support teams to ensure marketing messaging aligns with global strategy.
• Communicate marketing plans across the organization and report key success metrics and ROI.
• Represent FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific at tradeshows, seminars, and customer sites.
• Provide direction to and manage a growing team of global product managers.
