About The Position

Equitable is seeking a dynamic and resourceful Marketing Manager to join our Employee Benefits (EB) Commercial Line of Business Marketing. The Marketing Manager, Employee Benefits Business works closely with other members of the Employee Benefits business and the Marketing CoE (Center of Excellence) to provide marketing support for the EB LOB. This position is a hybrid with a blend of in-person and remote work schedule out of our Charlotte, NC (preferred), New York City, or possible remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications
  • 5+ years of professional marketing experience
  • 2+ years of marketing experience in Employee Benefits or Group Insurance industry
  • Deep understanding and subject matter expertise of the Employee Benefits or Group Insurance market and products (group dental/vision, group life insurance, group short/long term disability, paid family leave, and/or supplemental health offerings: accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and associated wellness benefits)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the creation and implementation of Employee Benefits (Group Insurance) marketing programs including marketing campaigns across different platforms (e.g. digital, social, search, email) to drive business results.
  • Collaborate with Marketing COE members to implement Employee Benefits marketing programs in connection with product/service launches and promotion of existing products and value add programs.
  • Partner with Employee Benefits Line of Business partners to engage with numerous teams including Employee Benefits Sales, Product Management, Creative Services, Brand, Analytics and Compliance.
  • Understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to develop optimal customer journeys.
  • Create and maintain marketing material across multiple channels articulating required elements for production and/or promotion across mediums (print, online, digital, web, social).
  • Articulation of value proposition to target customers and other key stakeholders (e.g., brokers, employers, and employees).
  • Development of strategic briefs, exhibiting deep understanding of the needs of our end-customers and key stakeholders.
  • Operating knowledge of tools, techniques and practices for gathering and reporting data to evaluate performance and determine impact of marketing programs.
  • In depth knowledge of marketing systems including Workfront, eDox, Seismic, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adtrax and Tableau.
