The Marketing Manager will join the Adviser Marketing team on a 12-month secondment, playing a crucial role in shaping and delivering the marketing plan to support new business growth for pensions and retirement. This dynamic role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and strong people leadership to manage a small team of marketing professionals while collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve Royal London's objectives in the UK adviser market.

  • Manage direct reports resource to deliver demands in a way that is optimal from a marketing perspective.
  • Support definition and lead on the execution of adviser marketing activities to meet acquisition, retention, and specific audience objectives in line with the UK business plan.
  • Influence alignment of segmentation, contact/engagement strategy and key messaging with Distribution colleagues, helping to embed an ABM approach.
  • Support setting and lead measurement and reporting of stretch objectives, demonstrating a clear line of sight between marketing activity and commercial results.
  • Using data and insights continuously test, learn, and optimise marketing activity.
  • Lead execution of defined thought leadership and trade advertising activities required to support the UK adviser strategy.
  • Ensure Strategic Partnership opportunities are leveraged through our marketing activities.
  • Bring marketing expertise into the UK business across b2b, b2c, b2b2c and b2b2b2c specialisms.
  • Manage content delivery to support marketing activities - Life stage, proposition, experiential, servicing and regulatory.
  • Experience leading the development and delivery of marketing plans across different audiences (including B2B).
  • Marketing specialist with advanced understanding of marketing communication tools and techniques.
  • Strong stakeholder and project management skills.
  • Experience of marketing planning and development.
  • Analytical and highly numerate.
