About The Position

i9 Sports is the nation’s first and largest youth sports league franchise business in the United States, with over 3 million registrations across the country. We believe the number one reason kids play sports is to have fun, and we are looking for a creative, motivated Marketing Intern to help us spread that mission across Delaware. This role offers a unique "360-degree" marketing experience, blending digital strategy with boots-on-the-ground physical marketing. You will work directly with the Area Developer to increase league awareness and drive registrations. Digital Marketing (The Strategy): Content Creation: Assist in drafting weekly community emails and engaging social media posts to keep our families informed and excited. Market Research: Identify and research upcoming local community events, festivals, and school functions across Delaware where i9 Sports can make an impact. Campaign Tracking: Help monitor the success of digital outreach and suggest new ways to reach local parents. Outbound Lead Management: Conduct outbound calls to potential members who have expressed interest in our programs. Physical Marketing (The Execution): Community Outreach: Distribute flyers to key stakeholders, local businesses, and parking lots. Brand Visibility: Manage the strategic placement and maintenance of road signs throughout the territory. Event Activation: Represent i9 Sports at in-person events to build relationships with families and answer questions about our programs. Gameday Support: Assist with on-site marketing displays and occasional equipment/materials organization as needed.
