About The Position

Manhattan Marketing Interns are an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to the overall success of Manhattan's marketing initiatives and ensuring a consistent and positive brand image in the market. This is a paid internship position. As a part of Manhattan’s marketing department, the marketing interns support the marketing team in designing, developing, and producing compelling proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of basic business development principles.
  • Knowledge of database concepts.
  • Organizational skills, multi-tasking.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work well with various types of personalities and work styles.
  • Excellent time management skills and a sense of urgency.
  • Passion for participating in professional development and community-focused organizations.
  • Seeking an Associate or bachelor’s degree recommended.

  • Attend SMPS and other relevant industry workshops.

Responsibilities

  • Graphic design components.
  • Social media production and calendar management
  • Maintaining systems for extracting, categorizing, and retrieving information related to clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, and visuals.
  • Creation of proposals and presentations.
  • Gathering content from team members and project partners.
  • Drafting and proofreading internal and external communications.
  • Preparing and coordinating awards competition entries.
  • Organizing special events organized by the firm/company.
  • Coordinating project and promotional photography.
