About The Position

The Marketing Intern will support the Bavarian Inn Incorporation’s multi-entity marketing team with hands-on experience in hospitality, retail, events, and destination marketing. This role offers real-world exposure to campaign planning, digital content creation, promotions, and guest engagement strategies across the Lodge, Restaurant, Waterpark, Retail Shops, and special events. This paid internship is ideal for students pursuing Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or Business who want practical experience supporting an established, high-traffic resort brand.

Requirements

Must pass interview and Background checks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with social media platforms
Basic design experience (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools preferred)
Organized, detail-oriented, and creative
Comfortable working both independently and on a team

Nice To Haves

Currently enrolled in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or related field
Photography or video editing experience
Event or customer service background
Experience with email platforms or website tools
Interest in hospitality, tourism, or retail industries

Responsibilities

Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal initiatives
Support social media content creation (photos, reels, posts, captions, scheduling)
Help design flyers, digital signage, and internal communications
Update website content and online listings
Support event marketing and on-site activations
Track campaign metrics and prepare basic reports
Coordinate RSVP lists, surveys, and email communications
Assist with brand consistency across departments
Support recruiting and internal culture campaigns (benefits, events, team engagement)
Perform market research and analysis
