About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Intern (multiple openings) to support our Marketing team. This is an 8-week, paid internship paying at $22.00 per hour, working 40 hours per week. The Marketing Intern will collaborate closely with our brand, digital, and field marketing teams to support campaigns that drive guest engagement and brand love across Subway’s North American footprint. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple facets of modern marketing — from social media and content creation to campaign analytics and consumer insights — while working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about growing one of the world’s most recognized brands.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be enrolled at a four (4) year college or university for the duration of the internship.
  • Overall cumulative minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) required.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Have completed a minimum of 75 credit hours.
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Miami, FL during the internship.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) and an understanding of current digital marketing trends.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into recommendations.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Passion for the food and restaurant industry is preferred.
  • Previous internship or coursework experience in marketing, communications, or a related area is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and in-store channels.
  • Support the social media team with content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and performance tracking across platforms.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify consumer trends, emerging opportunities, and industry best practices within the QSR space.
  • Help create marketing collateral including presentations, one-pagers, promotional materials, and internal communications.
  • Analyze campaign performance data using tools such as Google Analytics and social listening platforms, and prepare reports with actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Digital, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and Creative—to support brand initiatives and product launches.
  • Assist in planning and coordination of promotional events, local marketing activations, and franchisee engagement programs.
  • Contribute fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions and participate in strategic planning discussions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as organizing files, tracking project timelines, and coordinating meeting schedules for the marketing team.
