About The Position

Mountainside Treatment Center is seeking a motivated, creative, and curious Marketing Intern to join our New York City team for an immersive 10-week summer internship program. This internship is designed to expose you to a variety of marketing disciplines, including digital advertising, content strategy, brand storytelling, social media management, website optimization, and event promotion. As a Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting and executing our marketing strategies while gaining valuable hands-on experience. You’ll collaborate closely with our fast-paced, mission-driven marketing team to support campaigns that raise awareness, provide helpful resources, and engage audiences in meaningful ways. Requirements

Current college student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with major social media platforms and current digital trends
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Genuine curiosity about digital marketing, brand storytelling, and data-driven decision making

Nice To Haves

Basic skills in graphic design and/or video editing are a plus (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Canva, CapCut, etc.)

Responsibilities

Support SEO efforts through website content updates, keyword research, and on-page optimization
Assist with social media content planning, drafting, and scheduling across platforms
Participate in team brainstorms, strategy sessions, and campaign planning meetings
Assist with the creation of written, visual, and video content for digital platforms
Conduct competitive market analysis and industry research to identify trends and areas of opportunity
Help the marketing team with other tasks, special projects, and events as needed
