The Marketing Intern is an aspiring creative marketing professional at the beginning their career. They assist in the management of markingoperations under the supervision of a marketing manager. Their main duties will include completing clerical and administrative duties, building social media campaigns, and preparing promotional materials and presentations.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate course of marketing, communications, or similar field
- Familiarity with marketing computer software and social media platforms
- Must have passion for marketing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
- Confident and outgoing personality with an excellent attention to detail
- Well organized and self-motivated
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily administrative duties
- Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends
- Collecting and analyzing data to identify consumer trends
- Design and present new marketing campaign ideas
- Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content
- Prepare detailed promotional presentations
- Help with the planning and hosting of marketing events
- Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content
- Assist in creating social media and promotional content
- Other duties as assigned
