About The Position

The Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the cultural sector. Lincoln Center’s Internship Program is looking for a Marketing Intern who is excited to gain hands-on experience in arts administration while helping connect communities with the performing arts. Designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students, this paid, in-person opportunity offers meaningful, real-world experience in a dynamic cultural environment where collaboration and learning happen side by side with colleagues on campus. As a Marketing Intern, you’ll play an active role in supporting campaigns and initiatives that reflect the diversity of Lincoln Center’s artists, audiences, and the city itself. Working closely with the Marketing team in a highly collaborative, on-site environment, you’ll help bring performances and programs to life, contributing to efforts that make the arts more accessible, welcoming, and engaging for all. Requirements

  • A rising college junior or senior, or equivalent
  • Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area
  • Available to work 35 hours per week from June – August 2026
  • Available Wednesday afternoons to participate in internship program workshops
  • A self-starter who also thrives in team environments
  • Passionate about arts, leadership, and community impact
  • Exemplify teamwork, organization, innovation, resilience, inclusivity, and enthusiasm
  • Detail-Oriented & Creative: You have strong writing and editing skills, an eye for detail, and an interest in design or marketing.
  • Digitally Savvy: You’re aware of current social media trends and excited to apply that knowledge.
  • Passionate & Purpose-Driven: You care about the arts, leadership, and community impact—and embody values like teamwork, organization, innovation, inclusivity, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

  • Support Campaigns: Assist the Associate Director of Marketing and Marketing Associate in implementing marketing strategies that promote Lincoln Center’s programs.
  • Stay Organized: Manage flyer inventory and ensure campus venues and community partners are stocked with up-to-date marketing materials.
  • Contribute Creatively: Attend marketing meetings and share ideas to help reach new audiences and deepen engagement.
  • Ensure Quality: Audit web pages and proofread print materials to maintain accuracy and consistency across platforms.
  • Be On the Ground: Attend select performances to support signage implementation and help ensure smooth event operations.
