About The Position

Summary: The Marketing Internship at Catalyst Construction provides relevant experience for students pursuing a degree in Business Marketing or Graphic Design. Our program provides a realistic view of what it’s like to work in the Marketing field through hands-on experience from designing and social media to market research and analytics– our interns assume a wide variety of responsibilities during their time at Catalyst. This is a full time, onsite position located in Milwaukee, WI.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on project need/demand
• Pursuing a degree in Business Marketing or Graphic Design is preferred, but not required
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), InDesign and other CMS software
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with Owners/Clients
• Regularly required to move, sit, and bend for various hours throughout the day
• Occasionally may need to travel and visit sites in inclement weather
• Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

• Pursuing a degree in Business Marketing or Graphic Design is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor content on our website and social media for trending news, ideas and feedback
• Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends within our industry
• Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content, including copy writing
• Help with the planning and attendance of various company and client related events
• Support the Director of Sales and Marketing and Marketing Team with admin tasks as needed
• Carry out research on a wide variety of companies and contacts across the sector
• Prepare documents and proposals to send to potential clients
• Attend meetings and trainings as assigned
• Complete projects as assigned
