About The Position

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is looking for a driven individual seeking real experience in Marketing Communications for a professional services company. This individual will focus on CRM administration, integration, and report building while collaborating with marketing and technical experts to ensure our platform is optimized for our unique business needs. Through the CEC Internship Program, you will: Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses, learn from industry experts, and collaborate with teams across functional groups and locations; Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities; Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges; and Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success in their full-time careers.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on quantitative fields (Statistics, Economics, or Data Science) or Marketing/Communications is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and high level of precision
• Familiarity with CRM systems – HubSpot preferred

Responsibilities

• Support in maintaining accurate and up-to-date client information within the CRM system
• Conduct research on prospective clients and competitive trends.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards to facilitate analytics and support business decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the CRM platform.
• Document workflows, procedures, and processes to streamline support and usage.
