The Marketing Growth Specialist helps to deliver marketing programs designed to drive additional business primarily through digital marketing, mass media, direct mail and other forms of traditional advertising focused on the civil engineering industry. 75% of the job will involve creating material needed for proposals and project sheets. Requirements

  • Experience 2+ years marketing proposal experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced work environment
  • Skills Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, project leaders and the marketing team
  • Able to handle multiple projects and priorities with short deadlines
  • Detail oriented with solid writing, editing and graphic design skills
  • Must desire to deliver exceptional customer service
  • High level of expectations for brand management compliance
  • Education Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing or communications

Nice To Haves

  • AEC experience preferred
  • Illustrator and Open Asset experience is a plus
  • Experience in Vantagepoint CRM is a plus
  • Certifications/Specialty Focus CPSM certification preferred
  • Other specialty training or emphasis areas such as proposal development, digital, database, social media, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in leading coordination of marketing materials including creation, management of logo items for service segments, updating and management of SOQ content, segment resumes - approximately 75% of the time
  • Project sheets proposal coordination - layout, assists in writing, distribution, updating all content and resumes
  • Be a contributing partner to thought leadership and strategy development – a critical, analytical thinker who helps identify challenges and opportunities relative to the initiatives and projects
  • Works with the team to partner with multiple internal departments and external vendors
  • Promotes brand awareness through marketing efforts
  • Copy writing - able to quickly understand technical information and use for compelling story
  • Coordinates marketing materials - creation, logo items management for groups, update and management of SOQ content, segment resumes, and project sheets
  • Graphic design/layout of external and internal communication pieces, marketing collateral, presentation materials, digital marketing, and manages outside print company to meet brand expectations
  • Manages direct mail software system, analytics reporting for creative digital marketing
  • Works with the team to understand the process and execute on project overviews and updates, using 3rd party and competitive research, participating in discussions with both internal departments and external partners, analyzing program results, and presenting key updates and findings to team
  • Makes updates to company website
  • Manages media relations by establishing working relationships with media, write release and pitch article ideas for publication
  • Attends and represents marketing as a brand ambassador at various networking and industry events
  • Brand integrity management – ensures all corporate brand standards are met on everything that leaves the office (digital, print or tangibles)
  • Social media - understand the concept and use company channels for relationship building, lead generation and market intelligence, and marketing communications for the brand
  • Event planning - must seek out locations, plan and execute client entertainment to support marketing. Events are stand alone and in conjunction with trade shows. This includes event communication/invitation coordination
  • Trade shows – Researches what shows to attend and coordinates schedule, is on-site as needed to manage any hospitality event we host in conjunction with a show, coordinates marketing communications before and after tradeshows to targets (writes and executes), and captures all prospect names/actions in CRM system
  • Market Research - assists with research and information collection of market intelligence
  • CRM database entries - opportunities, activities, new contact entry, updates
