About The Position

KSM’s Marketing & Growth team is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, generate leads, and support business development efforts across assigned industries and service lines. The marketing & growth associate plays a key supporting role in bringing these strategies to life. This position is ideal for an early-career professional and offers hands-on experience in multiple facets of marketing, from campaign coordination and content creation to events and client engagement initiatives that support the firm’s overall growth goals.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of marketing and/or business development support experience, preferably within professional services or B2B environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Excellent project management experience with the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time
  • Ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Forward-thinking and open to leveraging digital and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance efficiency and quality

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop) a plus
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and growth programs that align with industry and/or service line goals and objectives
  • Support collaboration with internal teams and/or outsourced marketing resources to deliver high-quality content, creative assets, web updates, digital marketing, proposals and sales enablement tools, and communications that support growth strategies
  • Help coordinate campaign execution across multiple channels to generate leads or enhance brand presence, monitoring progress and assisting with performance tracking and reporting
  • Provide support in managing sponsorships and relationships with key associations, including scheduling, coordination, and tracking ROI to inform future recommendations
  • Assist in planning and executing both in-person and virtual events, including association-sponsored and firm-hosted events, by coordinating logistics, materials, registration, and follow-up activities
  • Conduct research on industries, clients, competitors, and market trends to support marketing and business development initiatives
  • Partner with the marketing & growth advisor to prepare reports, presentations, and summaries that highlight campaign outcomes, event metrics, and recommendations for improvement
