About The Position

We’re looking for a Marketing Event Manager to build, manage, and execute high-impact parent-focused events across the country. This role owns the full event lifecycle—from planning and logistics through on-site execution and post-event follow-up—helping families experience our products firsthand and empowering them with education that keeps kids safer online and in real life. Requirements

  • 3+ years of event management or field marketing experience (education, consumer tech, nonprofit, community, CPG, or retail preferred).
  • Proven success owning end-to-end logistics.
  • Outstanding project management and communication skills.
  • High adaptability, strong judgment, calm under pressure.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the U.S. to deliver events (30-40%)
  • Ability to reliably access a major airport within approximately one hour of home
  • Passion for empowering families and doing work that matters.
  • Ability to lift and move event materials, including booth structures, equipment cases, and display components.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working hands-on during setup and teardown.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with marketing leadership to build local event programs that drive awareness, education, and adoption.
  • Partner with the B2B team on logistics execution of school-based events including device fairs, parent nights, etc.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Scout venues, secure permits, and coordinate vendors, rentals, and inventory.
  • Build run-of-show agendas and staffing plans.
  • Lead 2–3 monthly travel activations (typically 1–3 days each).
  • Oversee setup, breakdown, tech needs, and product demo environments.
  • Ensure brand presence feels inviting, polished, and emotionally resonant for parents.
  • Train and manage on-site support staff and volunteers.
  • Serve as quarterback to the delivery team —make sure they have everything they need to welcome, educate, and build relationships with parents, schools, organizations, and local leaders.
  • Support team delivering product demos and educational content.
  • Own follow-up touchpoints to maximize conversion, learning, relationships, and retention.
  • Maintain detailed records, metrics, and learnings to refine the program and scale.
  • Work closely with sales, support, and marketing stakeholders to ensure smooth handoffs and leads.
