About The Position

Seeking a revenue-focused Director of Marketing to lead full-funnel, direct-to-consumer marketing for a large, nationally recognized attraction. This role owns brand strategy, digital acquisition, ticket sales, and attendance growth, with direct accountability for revenue performance. The ideal candidate brings progressive leadership experience in attractions, theme parks, hospitality, tourism, or large-scale entertainment and a proven ability to drive bookings and visitation through integrated campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in attractions, hospitality, entertainment, or tourism
  • Strong D2C, full-funnel acquisition experience driving ticket sales and attendance
  • Expertise across digital (SEO/SEM, paid media, email, social), content, PR, and partnerships
  • Proven revenue and ROI accountability with budget ownership
  • Experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated brand and marketing strategy aligned to revenue and attendance targets
  • Drive digital initiatives to increase ticket sales, group bookings, and repeat visitation
  • Oversee content, PR, partnerships, and media to strengthen brand awareness
  • Partner with events and education teams to activate programs that drive visitation
  • Manage marketing budget, KPIs, agencies, and performance reporting to executive leadership
