First things first… This is a 100% remote position with 0–5% travel. This role is both client-facing and has internal leadership responsibilities. The current annual salary range for this position is $90k - $120k + bonus opportunities. What You’ll Do The Marketing Director is the architect of MQMR’s brand authority and lead generation engine. You will be responsible for translating complex regulatory topics (Internal Audit, HMDA, AML/BSA, Servicing QC, Vendor Management, etc.) into compelling content and automated journeys within HubSpot. Your goal is to cultivate "Raving Fans" by delivering value before a prospect ever signs a contract.

Requirements

  • Industry Expertise: 3–5+ years in marketing within the mortgage or financial services space. You must understand the difference between Origination and Servicing.
  • HubSpot Expert: Deep, hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub. Certification is a significant plus.
  • Technical Writing: Ability to leverage AI to write for a C-suite audience; authoritative, professional, and insightful.
  • B2B Logic: Experience managing long, high-trust sales cycles for professional services rather than "quick-sale" products.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy Ownership & Planning
  • End-to-End Strategy Owner: Own MQMR’s marketing strategy from annual planning to weekly execution; mapping campaigns, channels, themes, and goals that directly support pipeline growth and brand authority.
  • Architecture: Define the full marketing roadmap (quarterly + monthly), including campaign objectives, target personas, key messages, content types, and success metrics.
  • HubSpot Ecosystem Mastery
  • The Flywheel: Manage the full HubSpot stack (in collaboration with our Systems Automation Director) as it relates to the buyer’s journey to ensure a seamless experience from a "Compliance Alert" download to a booked sales consultation.
  • Automation: Build and optimize sophisticated workflows for lead nurturing, event follow-ups, and "re-engagement" of past audit clients.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and segmentation to ensure our messaging reaches the right personas (e.g., Chief Compliance Officers, CEOs, or Vendor Managers).
  • Analytics: Own the marketing dashboard; provide weekly reports on MQLs, SQLs, and campaign attribution.
  • Content Strategy & Thought Leadership
  • Bridge the Gap: Collaborate with our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to turn dense regulatory updates into "must-read" white papers, blog posts, and webinars.
  • Regulatory Alerts: Ensure MQMR is the first to market with insights when the CFPB, GSEs, or state regulators issue new guidance.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop "Solution Sheets" and case studies that prove the ROI of outsourcing audit and risk functions.
  • Strategic Industry Presence
  • Event Coordination: Manage our presence at key industry events (MBA, The Mortgage Collaborative, other industry events), ensuring the collateral, speaker panels, and post-event HubSpot sequences are synchronized.
  • Social Media Compliance: Oversee our social presence and boosting existing team member’s personal posts.
