We are searching for a Marketing Director to lead our Rx portfolio with focus on the Dermatology, Parasiticides, and In-Clinic categories. This role determines both the short & long term strategic direction of this portfolio to achieve both topline revenue and bottom line profitability objectives. The Marketing Director is responsible for the execution of all aspects of marketing plans, which requires seamless cross-functional collaboration with both the US and Global teams to ensure excellence and alignment. They will also work closely with both the Global and Business Development teams on innovation and aligning on the future innovation pipeline.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of applicable Marketing experience with demonstrated progression of roles with increasing responsibility
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University specializing in Marketing, Communications, or Business
  • Strong collaboration skills at all levels within an organization
  • Demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit and passion for strong data analytics
  • Excellent people first leadership with demonstrated skills in developing others
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proven track record of developing talent in an organization with a focus on learning & development
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • MBA strongly preferred but not required
  • Prior Animal Health experience seen as an asset but not required

Responsibilities

  • Innovative marketer with experience in Omnichannel environment for multiple categories in an Animal Health or Life Sciences business, including: new product development, forecasting, long range planning and go to market execution.
  • Possess relevant marketing leadership experience with a passion for raising business standards, coupled with the ability to fluidly transition between strategic and tactical thinking.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with sales leadership to ensure the voice of our field sales team and Veterinarian professionals are incorporated into both our strategic planning and go-to-market execution.
  • Focus on both B2B & B2C campaigns, positioning, and activation, must be a credible professional, capable of developing tools and strategies that sell to both professionals (Vets) and pet owners.
  • Experience with successfully launching new products including leading all elements of the go-to-market strategy.
  • Strong business financial acumen to determine ROI, cost analysis, margins etc. when determining pricing and marketing strategies.
  • Ability to leverage analytical insights to evaluate a comparison of sales volume, market trends, digital experience, promotional initiatives, and competitive activity.
  • Experienced people leader with proven track record of coaching & leading a Marketing team. Demonstrating an ability to focus on Learning & Development for both themselves and their direct and indirect team members.
  • Must have a demonstrated history of working together to drive large projects, with a reputation of getting things done. Solid project management skills, KPI tracking and driving accountability cross functionally and with vendors.
  • Professional presence with the ability to present to senior executives, cross-functionally within the organization, and to strategic external customers.
  • The successful candidate will be a highly influential individual who has thrived in hyper-growth environments.
  • Responsible for both A&P and GtN budget management across Rx portfolio.
  • Responsible for general market research to keep abreast of industry trends & validate potential new product innovation and Marketing campaigns.
