Crexi is reimagining how the commercial real estate ecosystem operates—connecting brokers, lenders, investors, developers, appraisers, assessors, government agencies, and service providers through a unified marketplace and suite of AI-powered tools. By bringing listing, marketing, workflow automation, and research together in one platform, we empower CRE professionals to work more efficiently and make better-informed decisions. Crexi Pro equips brokers with advanced tools to market properties, engage buyers, and manage leads effectively. Crexi Intelligence centralizes nationwide property records, comps, tax data, ownership information, and market analytics—helping users evaluate opportunities, underwrite deals, and understand market dynamics with confidence. We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Marketing Director to lead the end-to-end marketing inclusive of acquisition and retention for Crexi Pro and Crexi Intelligence. This leader will shape the narrative, positioning, lifecycle strategy, and go-to-market approach across our subscription portfolio. They will ensure our value is clearly communicated to brokers and CRE professionals, drive pipeline and revenue, and create programs that promote adoption, usage, and long-term customer success. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role suited for a marketer who loves understanding customer behavior, crafting differentiated value propositions, building programs that influence markets, and delivering measurable results across acquisition, retention, and expansion.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, or marketplace platforms; including 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success building GTM strategies, portfolio positioning, pricing/packaging frameworks, and demand-generation programs.
  • Deep experience with subscription lifecycle marketing, customer retention, segmentation, and complex buyer journeys.
  • Proven ability to craft influential narratives and thought leadership that shape market perception.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience connecting marketing activity to pipeline, conversion, retention, and revenue outcomes.
  • Exceptional communicator and collaborator, highly effective working with Sales, Product, CS, and Executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own the comprehensive marketing strategy for Crexi Pro and Crexi Intelligence, including narrative development, positioning, pricing input, and commercial priorities that drive revenue and market leadership.
  • Develop a portfolio-level story that differentiates Pro and Intel while showcasing their combined value across listing workflows, prospecting, research, underwriting, and deal execution.
  • Spend meaningful time in the market—joining sales calls, interviewing customers, reviewing usage data—to deeply understand segment needs and buyer behavior.
  • Build a market intelligence framework to monitor competitive moves, pricing trends, customer expectations, and emerging CRE workflows, turning insights into clear GTM decisions.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Finance to refine pricing, packaging, and tiering strategies aligned with personas, product maturity, and revenue goals.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for new features, releases, and product enhancements, ensuring alignment with Product, Sales, CS, and RevOps.
  • Develop integrated, full-funnel marketing programs that span: Top of funnel: thought leadership, insights, PR, editorial content Mid-funnel: solution guides, use cases, demos, webinars Bottom funnel: sales enablement, competitive differentiation, conversion programs
  • Collaborate with digital, lifecycle, and content teams to design multi-channel campaigns that drive acquisition and improve marketing-attributed pipeline.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell and build targeted messaging that supports expansion across the customer base.
  • Partner with Marketing Ops to refine segmentation, targetable audiences, scoring models, and performance KPIs for continual optimization and ROI improvement.
  • Own the retention marketing strategy for Pro and Intel, partnering closely with Customer Success to reduce churn, increase product adoption, and improve user health.
  • Develop proactive education programs—guides, onboarding flows, webinars, best practice content—ensuring customers understand how to use Pro and Intel to support their workflows and achieve meaningful outcomes.
  • Analyze churn drivers, renewal behavior, and product usage patterns to inform messaging, campaigns, and product improvements.
  • Work with CS to create persona-specific adoption journeys that reinforce value across listing creation, lead management, research, underwriting, and deal workflows.
  • Build programs that support expansion and renewal, ensuring users recognize the ongoing value of Crexi’s data, tools, and insights.
  • Shape Crexi’s thought leadership strategy, partnering with Content and Editorial teams to elevate insights around comps, valuations, underwriting workflows, parcel/tax data, and CRE intelligence trends.
  • Oversee creation of high-impact assets—testimonials, case studies, webinars, videos, and data-driven reports—that reinforce Crexi’s authority in CRE technology and data.
  • Ensure all messaging and storytelling aligns with Crexi’s brand promise: empowering CRE professionals with the data and intelligence they need to move faster and make smarter decisions.
  • Equip Sales teams with compelling narratives, competitive tools, persona-specific value propositions, and messaging frameworks that drive urgency and differentiation.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to refine demos and talk tracks based on customer insights and market trends.
  • Collaborate with Events to ensure conferences and trade shows generate qualified demand, highlight product differentiation, and support pipeline creation.
  • Maintain strong customer proximity—continuously gathering feedback that informs messaging, GTM strategy, and marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with Sales leadership to align on pipeline goals, forecasting, and feedback loops.
  • Collaborate with Product, CS, and RevOps to ensure a consistent customer journey across acquisition, onboarding, adoption, and renewal.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional partners, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and commercial accountability.
  • Partner with CS to build retention and expansion programs that drive long-term value and minimize churn.
