About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing & Digital Strategy: Branded Hotels & CALA, the Manager of Marketing & Digital Strategy is responsible for enhancing the company’s use of marketing channels to improve market share and drive revenue performance for all hotels and outlets within assigned portfolio of hotels. The selected candidate is an entrepreneurial leader who is responsible for brand strategy and stewardship; omni-channel marketing strategy and execution; oversight of the hotels’ digital presence and experiential storytelling; delivery of data-driven paid media results; email marketing; and public relations, social media, and reputation management strategies. The Manager of Marketing & Digital Strategy owns the development of the marketing roadmap for the portfolio and oversees its execution. It is responsible for the development, management, and execution of marketing and branding initiatives including reporting, analytics, advertising, marketing plans, collateral, videography and photography, and market research that maximizes exposure to achieve budget, increase revenues and meet market share targets. Keys to success will be: (1) position hotels as leaders in competitive markets; (2) align strategic marketing KPIs; (3) structure strategic marketing plans to effectively deliver relevant and engaging messaging to an ideal targeted customer profile to drive commercial metrics; (4) analyze marketing and digital performance to make data-driven recommendations on budgets and strategic and tactical executions.

  • 4-year degree required
  • Bi-lingual; Fluent in English & Spanish
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, digital strategy, branding, public relations, etc.
  • Marketing and/or Digital/eCommerce experience with branded and independent/soft branded hotels.
  • Proficiency managing paid media campaigns and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Best-in-class marketing and digital presence for assigned portfolio through brand strategy and execution; experiential storytelling, content, and visual assets; and revenue generating technologies and merchandising.
  • Manage and optimize the portfolio’s email marketing strategy.
  • Ensure development and pull-through of hotels’ brand strategy across all consumer touch points.
  • Oversight of paid media and advertising vehicles to maximize revenue delivery for portfolio of hotels.
  • Champion, develop, and execute successful public relations, social media and influencer marketing strategies in partnership with internal and external resources.
  • Collaborate with General Managers, Directors of Sales & Marketing, Commercial Strategy partners, and above-property leadership to deliver on-strategy marketing programs.
  • Manage internal resources and external partners/agencies and hold them accountable to delivering best-in-class service and performance.
  • Influence the development and execution of portfolio-wide strategies.
