About The Position

IMG Academy is seeking a visionary Marketing Creative Director to lead creative strategy and execution across both our campus-based and online programming. This influential role guides the creative vision from concept to execution, leading a multidisciplinary team and collaborating closely with marketing, product, and campus stakeholders to drive brand consistency, engagement, and revenue. Ultimately, the goal is ensuring every touchpoint reflects IMG Academy’s premium, aspirational, and pioneering identity.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in creative leadership roles, preferably within premium brands, sports, lifestyle, education, or digital businesses
  • Proven experience in both hands-on design and leading creative across both physical experiences and digital ecosystems
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand storytelling, campaign development, and performance-driven creative
  • Experience managing and scaling creative teams
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, content strategy, and performance creative
  • Passion for sports, youth development, and global brand building
  • Visionary storyteller with a strong strategic mindset
  • Equally comfortable shaping high-level creative direction and diving into execution details
  • Collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
  • Data-informed but creatively driven
  • Naturally curious, culturally aware, and digitally fluent

  • Expand and elevate IMG Academy’s influence across sport, education, and culture
  • Shape and scale IMG Academy’s impact on the future of athletic development
  • Strengthen and extend IMG Academy’s influence across campus and digital experiences
  • Drive meaningful growth in IMG Academy’s brand influence and market impact
  • Advance IMG Academy’s position as the world’s most influential sports education brand
  • Lead creative development for campus and online initiatives including: Paid media, web design, social media, email and sales enablement Campus signage, experiential branding, and on-site storytelling
  • Collaborate with campus leadership to elevate the physical brand experience for students, families, athletes, and visitors
  • Partner with online product and sales leadership on the evolution of the brand and elevation of IMG Academy+ as the home for all digital extensions for IMG Academy
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, while sharing insights and expertise with others across the marketing department
  • Manage external agencies, freelancers, and production partners as needed
  • Collaborate closely with brand, content, product, sales, and analytics teams to align creative with business goals
  • Proven hands-on design experience to own major projects
  • Partner with Associate Creative Director to oversee creative workflows, timelines, and prioritization across multiple business lines
  • Balance big-picture brand thinking with tactical creative problem-solving
  • Use insights, testing, and performance data to refine creative output and optimize impact
