About The Position

The Marketing Coordinator – Business Programs is an organized, detail-oriented marketing professional who enjoys juggling multiple priorities and helping a fast-paced team stay on track. This role collaborates closely with Marketing Specialists, Managers and Senior Managers, Program Managers, and program implementers across Energy Trust’s Commercial, Industrial and Agricultural sectors. You’ll support the development and execution of marketing projects by keeping timelines moving using project management software, ensuring marketing deliverables are accurate and on brand, and helping coordinate communication across stakeholders. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, journalism, marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields, including project coordination, task management, and marketing materials.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to convey complex or technical information in clear, understandable terms.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • A demonstrated commitment to advancing inclusive marketing practices and supporting diversity within the workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with third party vendors and cross-functional teams is a plus
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms such as MailChimp, google analytics, and customer relationship management tools (Asana, Sharepoint) is desirable but not required.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide logistical and administrative collaboration to keep the Business Program Marketing Team organized and efficient, including scheduling, meeting coordination, materials preparation, support for project management, building out timelines in Asana and procedural oversight.
  • Assist in the coordination of marketing material reviews, as well as review marketing materials before sending to team for approvals, and publications (e.g., newsletters, brochures, bill inserts), working with contractors and in-house teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, check grammar and verify technical details.
  • Collaborate on the implementation of marketing campaigns by managing timelines, tracking content updates and logistics.
  • Coordinate logistics for marketing activities such as events, customer outreach and marketing materials.
  • Support the development of marketing deliverables such as customer stories, social media, newsletters and website copy updates.
