About The Position

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing social media platforms, assisting with marketing material creation, and supporting digital campaigns. This role works closely with the Brand Specialist to ensure cohesive branding and provides administrative and creative support for marketing initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator will be comfortable learning new technology, as well as an eagerness to utilize Arkansas Foodbank software systems. They will possess strong interpersonal skills, a spirit of collaboration and teamwork, and a commitment to hunger relief.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and five (5) years of relevant work experience in Communications, Development, Journalism or Marketing related field.
  • High School Diploma or GED and five (5) years of relevant work experience in Communications, Development, Journalism or Marketing related field.
  • Valid Arkansas driver’s license and proof of insurance required
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must pass a preemployment drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and schedule social media content across all platforms.
  • Monitor engagement and analyze social media performance metrics.
  • Assist the Brand Specialist with design and production of marketing materials (brochures, fact sheets, invitations).
  • Support implementation of email and digital campaigns, such as scheduling Meta ads or sending out Feeding America recall emails.
  • Update and maintain AFB photos and photo archives.
  • Manage and update the marketing collateral library.
  • Maintain inventory of printed materials such as donor thank-you cards and business reply envelopes.
  • Work with the Director of Marketing & Communications to assess Feeding America Marketing and Promotion opportunities on an ongoing basis; determine AFB’s level of participation and execute as determined beneficial to local marketing and communication goals.
  • Provide support in implementation of traditional and digital campaigns including graphic design, social media, and email.
  • Coordinate vendor quotes for smaller print jobs, like business cards.
  • Plan and implement Hunger Action Month activities and materials.
  • Assist with departmental reporting and monitoring of trends.
  • Represent the organization at events as needed.
