About The Position

AmaWaterways, the leader in luxury river cruising, is seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator Asia to join our regional marketing team. This role is responsible for developing creative design solutions that elevate our brand across digital and print platforms for both travel trade (B2B) and direct consumer (B2C) audiences for the Asia markets. This includes creating and managing localized collateral, partner campaigns, email communications, and web content, as well as design, adapt, and translate assets for multiple Asia markets to ensure consistent branding delivered through innovative, culturally relevant marketing. This coordinator will partner closely with both the local team and the US based team to maintain global brand and messaging alignment while tailoring all communications and campaigns for regional needs. Position based in Hong Kong.  POSITION GOALS:  Strengthen AmaWaterways’ Brand Identity - Ensure all creative output reflects the company’s luxury positioning and is consistent across all global markets.  Develop Impactful Marketing Campaigns - Create and adapt visuals for advertising, social media, and sales initiatives that increase engagement, lead generation, and bookings. Support Latin America & Multilingual Growth - Translate, adapt, and design campaigns in Mandarin, to expand AmaWaterways’ visibility in key Asia markets.  Elevate Sales & Trade Presentations - Deliver professional, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations and marketing collateral to support sales teams and travel advisor partners.  Drive Innovation in Digital Content - Introduce fresh design concepts, motion graphics, and digital storytelling methods that keep AmaWaterways’ marketing modern and competitive.

Requirements

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in graphic design, preferably in travel, luxury, or hospitality industries.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects or Premiere a plus).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing ads, social media campaigns, and presentation design.
  • Familiarity with digital ad formats (Google Ads, Meta Ads, programmatic platforms).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Clear and conceptual thinking ability; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused in stressful or complex situations.
  • Strong judgment and discretion; able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in multilingual campaign adaptation is highly preferred.
  • Experience in luxury travel or cruise sales strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and evolve AmaWaterways’ luxury brand identity across all marketing materials.
  • Translate concepts and strategies into visually compelling campaigns that resonate with travel advisors and consumers.
  • Serve as the primary hands-on designer for the Asia region, producing high‑quality marketing assets with fast, accurate turnaround times.
  • Create, adapt, and translate collateral, campaign assets, and promotional materials for Mandarin-speaking markets, ensuring cultural relevance and flawless language execution to reduce proofing cycles.
  • Deliver visually compelling sales and trade collateral—including flyers, toolkits, PowerPoints, templates, and event materials—tailored to regional market needs.
  • Design and execute creative assets for digital and print advertising, partner campaigns, seasonal promotions, and global launches.
  • Produce and adapt social media content for Asia platforms, ensuring compliance with channel specifications and marketing objectives.
  • Develop website, email marketing, and digital newsletter content, incorporating motion graphics or video elements when beneficial.
  • Maintain and update regional content across our website, the Travel Advisor Portal, and Asia SharePoint resources.
  • Support the creation, localization, and promotion of AmaAcademy content to strengthen advisor engagement in the region.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to optimize PPC and SEM campaigns.
  • Fulfill recurring requests for images, videos, offers, and digital assets with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide all required creative deliverables for conferences, trade shows, webinars, and partner events.
  • Develop localized marketing packages and partner-specific collateral for travel advisors and trade partners.
  • Ensure timely support for local trade events, consumer shows, and sales activations throughout Asia—representing the brand when needed.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries via the Asia marketing inbox and deliver exceptional service to travel partners and consumers.
  • Maintain the Asia marketing planner, campaign calendars, ASANA tasks, and digital asset repositories.
  • Track and replenish inventory of printed materials, brochures, and promotional items across Asia, coordinate distribution and logistics.
  • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and partner feedback to inform strategic marketing decisions.
  • Compile and present marketing data, performance metrics, and campaign results as needed.
  • Coordinate the flow of information and assets to ensure timely and efficient execution across markets.
  • Partner with copywriters, marketing managers, global teams, and external vendors to produce cohesive, high-quality deliverables.
