About The Position

You’re an integral part of a fast-paced and sophisticated global marketing team responsible for the day-to-day execution of an integrated thought leadership and brand building program that includes proactive and reactive media relations, advertising, events, content, and social media. The position will understand the value and importance of social media strategy/execution and execution as they relate to meaningful business outcomes across multiple industries and geographies. The person will build strong relationships, have exemplary writing skills, show creativity, translate data to insightful action, and have a positive, agile mindset. The right candidate will be a self-starter, quick learner, and someone who’s willing to jump in, try new things, get their hands dirty, and get things done.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related disciplines
  • 3-5 years of experience in creating seamless multi-channel social media experiences, particularly in B2B and technical environments
  • Strong writing skills across multiple media and specialized writing for social media skills
  • Experience understanding the customer journey and optimizing marketing activities based on current funnel position
  • Ability to work across multiple industries and functions to build a team environment
  • Creative mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it while working within brand standards
  • Self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning, improvement, and education of team members
  • Proven project management, problem solving, and relationship building skills deployed across a large, complex organization
  • Personality: Proactive, self-starter, organized, efficient, creative, strategic, collaborative
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and influence without authority, provide compelling/results-based recommendations tied to ROI, balance multiple and competing priorities on tight timelines, evolve our brand identity and recognition across industries and divisions

Responsibilities

  • Works alongside Senior Manager, Marketing Communications and global Marketing Managers and Advisors to develop engaging, relevant, and strategic content that aligns to brand and commercial goals
  • Manages strategy, execution, and reporting on industry social media channels and aligns content, digital journey and strategy with Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Content Strategy teams
  • Counsels global team on best practices on volume, timing, tone, graphics and other related components
  • Develops best practices and continuous improvement approach to ensure agility of approach
  • Elevates experience and events presence by brining offline elements online to drive engagement and create conversation
  • Creates compelling, professional graphics/videos that represent the company brands, divisions, and industries via Canva
  • Other assignments as needed
