About The Position

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinate, execute, monitor, and measure the NEFHSC’s marketing and communications efforts under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer in collaboration with Marketing Firm. Specific Activities: Marketing & Communications Assist in the implementation of the NEFHSC’s communications strategy and plan including but not limited to: Ensuring uniformity of content/messaging and consistent alignment with NEFHSC brand standards in all marketing and communication materials and tools Coordinating and executing e-mail campaigns, meeting deadlines, following timelines, and tracking/reporting email analytics Developing and maintaining marketing collateral for NEFHSC programs (i.e., promotional flyers, brochures, fact sheets, etc.) Reviewing and ensuring quality of marketing distribution lists, creating lists as needed Designing and editing graphics for print or web as needed Developing news releases and garnering earned media coverage; coordinating media interviews with the CEO or other spokesperson(s) Coordinating and developing newsletters, blog posts, social media posts, articles, and marketing collateral and communications as assigned Maintaining compliance with all anti-spam laws Coordinating the production of video content for use on NEFHSC website, presentations, social media, etc. Website Management Serving as the primary administrator of NEFHSC’s content management system (CMS) Working with staff and subject matter experts to develop relevant, meaningful content and maintain Coalition content strategy and web standards Collaborating with staff and web vendors to continuously improve the usability, design and content of the Coalition’s website Monitoring and reporting regularly on website analytics and taking corrective action when needed Managing and informing renewal of Coalition website domain names Managing vendor relations with web development companies Work with vendors to troubleshoot problems with the website and respond to user requests and comments Social Media Coordinating and executing social media campaigns and ensuring alignment with overall marketing approach and the NEFHSC mission Managing social media editorial calendar and post valuable, shareable content regularly, ensuring Coalition is positioned as a resource and thought leader online Monitoring and reporting on social media outreach, including weekly and monthly reporting Managing vendor relations and budget for social media efforts and social media management tools Other: · All other duties as assigned by Coalition

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or journalism preferred
  • At least 2 years’ experience in marketing or communications
  • Excellent writing skills with an emphasis on generating content for the web and social media
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on time
  • Highly driven and results-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service required
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and be a team player at the Coalition.
  • Must be able to commit to the Coalition vision and be passionate about its mission.
  • Requires reliable transportation as travel is required, valid driver’s license, good driving record and automobile insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva preferred
  • Some knowledge of HTML, PHP and Java Script preferred
  • Knowledge or experience working with email solution providers (e.g., Mail Chimp)
