Job PurposeLead and manage activities related to the strategic positioning and logistical development of both marketing and communication activities. Will support marketing and communication delivery for ten (10) existing refinish brands, ensuring that the information provided to the market is accurate and reflects the standards and capabilities of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, Sales, Communications or related field.
  • 5 years' experience wokring with marketing principles, brand management, and digital marketing techniques while maintaining budget compliance. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Experience managing digital marketing channels and social media platforms. Must be able to manage external agencies and vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to pay attention to details.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for company meetings, industry events, trade shows, conferences, and client meetings as required. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with business and department stakeholders to understand the strategic direction of the organization for automotive and sign refinishes for the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
  • Play a critical role in enhancing brand awareness within the market and driving lead generation activities. Will measure the effectiveness of campaigns, reporting results to senior management.
  • Oversee the business unit activities related to company branding, ensuring marketing efforts align with brand identity.
  • Support the development of the North American marketing communications budge. Will manage local marcoms spend to ensure compliance with the business unit budget.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to generate new business leads through marketing campaigns.
  • Organize and attend industry events, trade shows, conferences and exhibitions as needed.
  • Plan, write and edit content for a variety of communications mediums ensuring messages are consistent across traditional and digital mediums and in alignment with business unit guidelines. Mediums include advertising, business/trade media relations, literature/marketing assets, event/exhibit marketing, brand merchandise, and the website for the vehicle refinishes brand.
  • Build a strong network, informing internal stakeholders of project progress. Will respond to feedback, adjusting communications accordingly.
