About The Position

The Marketing and Administrative Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales and business development department, fundraising efforts and general public presence of JM Murray by executing a broad range of marketing projects including creating engaging content for the company website and social media platforms; coordinating integrated marketing efforts; and promoting all public relations activities and events. The goal is to drive sales for our business division, promote JM Murray as the leading provider of services in the area and an employer of choice for those seeking employment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field
  • Experience must include demonstrated experience with marketing on multiple social media platforms and public relations projects and events
  • Good communications skills, both verbally and in writing, and an understanding of communication styles for social media platforms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive internal and external relationships
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products, to update and make changes to websites, and to utilize technology (hardware and software) efficiently and effectively

Responsibilities

  • Works with the Director of Sales to develop and maintain a brand strategy that drives potential customers to our door step.
  • Designs and supports digital marketing initiatives to ensure optimization of company websites. This includes working with IT and Sales on website functionality projects as assigned.
  • Executes social media postings and advertisements across all platforms, including (as appropriate) Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and any other site deemed relevant, for JM Murray and ESTI.
  • Coordinates and completes the setup and execution of additional digital programs, including but not limited to: paid search, SEM (Search Engine Marketing) SEO (Search Engine Optimization), keyword research; affiliate and partnership marketing, re-targeting, digital display, and 3rd party marketplaces.
  • Performs standard and ad-hoc reporting for all marketing campaigns to determine ROI, outcomes and efficacy.
  • Completes all activities and tasks as the driving force in the development of branding, logos, brochures and other marketing materials, and ensures that information and photographs are obtained for agency events.
  • May be called upon to attend trade shows, expo’s or other events promoting J.M Murray, its services and products.
  • Leads in the coordination of our Annual Report, Annual Board Dinner, JM Murray Foundation Golf Tournament, Employee Celebration, and other company focused events throughout the year.
  • As needed serves as the company scribe and record keeper for board and board committee meetings or other confidential meetings.
  • Assisting consultants with various information requests for the more involved grant applications and proposals.
  • May be required to fill out and submit grant applications that are simpler and not as involved.
  • Works with the Senior VP of Services to maintain a position in the local community as the go to provider for services.
  • Ensures J.M Murray remains relevant and involved in all matters regarding our clients and their needs through community events, symposiums and tradeshows that are relevant to the services provided.
  • Assists with the development of fundraising materials and activities as it relates to providing content for promotion.
  • Working with Leadership Team responds to media inquiries.
  • Prepares and submits press releases and news updates to local and regional publications and outlets, upon approval of the President. Updates the company websites with photos of recent events, new employees, and other newsworthy events and information.
  • As this is a customer facing position it is imperative for the individual to maintain the highest level of professionalism and represent JM Murray in a positive manner, treating everyone with dignity and respect.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned and or required.
