About The Position

The Marketing Automation and Analytics Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for architecting the marketing technology engine and data strategy that drives sustainable revenue growth. This person will lead our corporate email marketing efforts and use data to determine how the entire marketing organization can deliver the most meaningful, timely, and engaging communication at every stage of the customer lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in marketing or a related field.
  • 5-10 years’ experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and/or web analytics.
  • Experience leading email marketing and marketing automation programs at scale (such as Eloqua, Marketo, Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Coud, or similar platforms) is a must.
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and performance measurement.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to partner cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker who can turn data into clear insights and action.
  • Expert-level ability to interpret complex datasets and use SQL or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) to drive business decisions.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise-scale platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Adobe Analytics) and their integration within a global data architecture.
  • Passion for delivering clear, helpful, and customer-first communication.
  • Executive presence, including exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence without authority in matrixed environments and present results to C-suite stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Omnichannel Customer Journey: Design a cohesive lifecycle framework that unifies email, SMS, web, and offline sales interactions into a single, personalized customer experience. Own and lead Beazer’s corporate email marketing and marketing automation strategy, ensuring communications are customer-focused, on-brand, and aligned with business goals. Oversee email template design, calls-to-action, and content strategy, collaborating with Content and Strategy teams to scale clear, compelling messaging. Create and maintain documentation, playbooks, and best-practice guidelines to support consistent execution across teams.
  • Strategic Growth Architecture: In partnership with the web marketing manager, develop and execute a long-term marketing technology strategy and roadmap that aligns with global business objectives and annual revenue targets. Build and manage audience segmentation strategies based on customer behavior, engagement, and digital interactions to deliver more relevant experiences.
  • MarTech Stack Leadership: Lead the process to identify the right marketing technology partners and lead implementation of new enterprise-wide platforms such as., Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Oversee these items in the marketing technology budget and vendor relationships, leading the selection, integration, and optimization of additional enterprise tools as needed to drive operational excellence.
  • Sales & Marketing Alignment: Partner with Sales, IT, and division teams to orchestrate full-funnel alignment, ensuring shared KPIs and a seamless transition of visitors to leads to traffic to ultimately drive sales. Partner with CRM and IT teams to support Salesforce integrations, data flows, and alignment between marketing automation and customer records. Support and help evolve SMS marketing programs, including journey integration, compliance best practices, and performance optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, translating complex technical data into clear, actionable insights for Board-level presentations.
  • Analytics: Lead the development of multi-touch attribution models, predictive lead scoring, and “propensity to buy” frameworks to quantify marketing’s impact on total company revenue and maximize the effectiveness of the enterprise-wide marketing budget across all touchpoints. Define and track email marketing KPIs, using insights to guide optimization and improve engagement, conversion, and customer experience. Analyze campaign performance and optimize journeys and workflows to support customers through key moments in their homebuying journey. Continuously test, learn, and improve through A/B testing, experimentation, and performance analysis. Proactively manage list health by reducing fatigue and unsubscribes while improving the effectiveness of email communications.
  • Change Management & Mentorship: Coach and mentor division marketing managers, fostering a culture of experimentation, rapid iteration, and continuous data-driven optimization across the organization. Partner closely with Field Marketing teams to support local market campaigns and ensure strong alignment between corporate strategy and local execution. Serve as an email subject-matter expert by training and advising Field Marketing teams, reviewing workflows, and supporting approvals. Stay current on industry trends, competitive email strategies, and marketing technology advancements to continuously elevate Beazer’s email programs.
  • Other duties as assigned: Support strategic ad-hoc marketing initiatives as needed, balancing execution with long-term scalability.
