About The Position

Profound is on a mission to help companies understand and control their AI presence. We are building the marketing platform for the answer-engine era and hiring a Marketing Associate to help power the next phase of our growth engine. This is not a narrow, single-channel role. You will work across demand generation, content, events, social, partnerships, product marketing, and whatever else drives revenue. You will help execute campaigns, test new ideas, and contribute to high-quality work across the funnel. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and leadership, gaining exposure to how a high-velocity company builds pipeline and scales revenue. This role is designed for someone early in their career who wants steep learning, real ownership, and meaningful responsibility.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, growth, content, startups, or related fields
  • True generalist excited by variety and exposure to multiple parts of marketing
  • Creative problem solver who tests, iterates, and adapts quickly
  • Strong taste and high standards for what effective marketing looks like
  • Curious about modern marketing trends, tools, and platforms
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving quickly
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Clear communicator both written and verbal
  • Eager to build real skills and grow into increasing responsibility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools is a plus
  • Experience writing content that drove measurable engagement is a plus
  • Startup or fast-paced environment experience is a plus
  • Motivated by direct exposure to how a revenue engine is built from the ground up
  • Interested in hands-on experience across the full marketing funnel
  • Excited to grow into a specialist or leadership role as the company scales

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute campaigns across paid media, email, SEO, webinars, events, partnerships, and social, turning strategy into execution
  • Draft emails, landing pages, social posts, event materials, case studies, and campaign assets
  • Develop strong design instincts and collaborate on creative execution with attention to craft
  • Track trends across B2B marketing, AI, enterprise technology, and modern go-to-market strategies, regularly bringing new ideas to the team
  • Help run A and B tests, analyze results, and translate learnings into improved performance
  • Assist with marketing automation, CRM updates, list building, enrichment, and campaign setup to support scalable infrastructure
  • Partner with Sales to understand lead quality and messaging gaps
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on positioning and campaign alignment
  • Support leadership with research and special projects
  • Step into high-impact work wherever needed, whether launching a webinar quickly or building a target account list from scratch
