About The Position

Mark Miller Subaru's Marketing Assistant is a unique opportunity for someone who is interested in gaining experience in Digital, Traditional, and Social Media marketing strategies and will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to each of these key marketing functions. This is a part-time position working 10-20 hours per week.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to get between stores and for community events
• Flexible schedule to assist with events on evenings and weekends
• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
• Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g., CRM tools, Online analytics, and Google AdWords)
• Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
• Video/photography skills
• Laptop (Mac preferred) and cellular device

Responsibilities

• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
• Perform market analysis and research on competition
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
• Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
• Prepare promotional presentations as needed
• Help distribute marketing materials throughout the community
• Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
• Helping with the planning and hosting of marketing event
• Help with the marketing team as needed
