About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our sales & marketing team in executing day-to-day activities and campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with strong organizational skills who enjoys working with a team. This role plays a key part in maintaining our brand presence through social media, newsletters, blog content, and event coordination. This is a part-time role.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related roles preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools & CMS platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Microsoft Publisher, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with manufacturing or the printed circuit board assembly process and environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update company social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, etc.) with engaging and consistent content.
  • Monitor social media engagement, track performance metrics, and suggest improvements for increased reach and interaction.
  • Assist in developing visual and written content aligned with brand tone and messaging.
  • Draft, format, and send newsletters at regular intervals to prospect list, current client list, etc.
  • Maintain and segment contact lists to ensure effective targeting.
  • Track newsletter metrics as needed.
  • Research, draft, and publish blog posts and website updates that support the company’s marketing strategy.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and stories for marketing content.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating trade shows, conferences, and marketing events.
  • Manage shipping logistics when required.
  • Support booth setup, attendee engagement, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Coordinate ordering and inventory of marketing materials (brochures, giveaways, signage, etc.).
  • Maintain up-to-date contact and distribution lists.
  • Provide administrative support for marketing projects and campaigns as needed.
  • Provide support to cover absences and peak demands assigned.
